Looking for a great brunch spot near our apartments off West Lake Houston Parkway? There are many brunch options to explore in our neighborhood, whether you’re looking for a classic American breakfast or something a little unexpected. These are just a few of the great brunches our residents enjoy within minutes of our apartments in Northeast Houston.
Taste of Paris Creperie and Cafe
Taste of Paris offers sweet and savory crepes, paninis, espresso drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes in West Lake Village, just around the corner from our apartments. With indoor and outdoor seating, this brunch spot offers a relaxed atmosphere and affordable eats. We recommend their Crepe Suzette A La Mode (with orange marmalade, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla ice cream) or the Scandinavian (imagine a lox bagel but in crepe form).
Bocca Italian Kitchen
Directly across the street from our apartments in Redemption Square, Bocca Italian Kitchen offers an upscale experience in an inviting atmosphere. Their brunch menu features an incredible Italian Style French Toast (made with white chocolate orange bread and pancetta) as well as Italian Baked Eggs with spicy marinara and ciabatta toast.
First Watch
First Watch is a great local breakfast chain and we’re lucky enough to have a location nearby on Sam Houston Parkway. First Watch has a variety of breakfast and brunch classics like pancakes and eggs as well as lighter fare like oatmeal and avocado toast. We recommend the smoked salmon benedict and the lemon ricotta pancakes, plus a morning meditation fresh juice and a cup of Project Sunrise Coffee.
Hungry Jack
If you don’t mind a 20-minute drive, Hungry Jack in Crosby offers a decadent array of pancakes, french toast, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and other comfort food classics. The New York Cheesecake Waffle and the Bananas Foster French Toast are hard to beat, but you’ll find it hard to be disappointed, no matter what you order here.
